8 Reasons Why You Should Become a Ghostwriter

Despite having published under my own name, I prefer being a ghostwriter. While ghostwriting is not everyone's cup of tea, it just seems to work perfectly for me. The reasons?  1 . Ghostwriting Pays Well Ghostwriting is a lucrative niche . One of the best things about ghostwriting is that you get paid a handsome amount for it. And you get paid upfront. You don't have to wait to write, publish and then market your book to make any money out of it.    At Ghostwriters' World, I offer other writing services such as copywriting but ghostwriting undoubtedly pays the best. You just have to find the right clients- the ones who will pay you well. 2. You Have to do Less Homework Often your clients will have brilliant ideas and stories that they would want you to work on. This means you would not have to start from scratch. You don't have to come up with your own ideas and voice. You would have an outline or plot to begin with so you'll have to do less homewo...

My Freelance Writing Journey: Right from the Beginning to Where I Stand Now

This February (2018) marked the 9th year of my career as a freelance ghostwriter and copywriter. There were so many questions boggling my mind about how far have I come now. It'll be just one more year and I'll have completed a decade in my career as a freelance writer.... 10 years! Wow! Sounds like a really long time, although it feels like I only started yesterday!  I was asking myself: What have I done so far?  Have I done enough? Should I stop now or continue doing what I have been during all these years? Too many questions, right? But they all seemed to be jumping around in the little mind that I have, as if it was a trampoline. They needed to be answered somehow so they would stop bothering me, so I looked back to where I began and continued to ponder..... Freelance Writing for Triond When I first started writing back in 2009, I just wrote articles and published them on a website called Triond. What a sheer waste of time it was! I published over a hundred ar...

If You Think You Can, You Actually Can

Do you ever feel like you've completely lost it while trying to be a freelance writer?  It is hard work, I know.  Wherever you find freelance writing jobs, the pay is just peanuts. When you put in time and effort to provide a quality piece of writing, you naturally expect to be paid well for it, but you just don't! Freelance networking sites like Upwork, Fiverr , Guru and other similar websites feature plenty of jobs but the clients are looking for the cheapest quotes, and on top of that these freelance websites take away a major chunk from your already low pay.  Not fair, right? That is exactly what I felt when I was working for these freelancing websites some years ago. I had work alright, but there was no real satisfaction in it at all. I wrote and wrote but I didn't enjoy it much. I wasn't rewarded for my time, my effort and most importantly the sleep-deprivation I was going through to meet deadlines.  I had had enough.  I knew I had to move ...

My Experience as a Freelance Writer

9 years! Yes, this year (2018) marks the 9th year of my career as a freelance ghostwriter and copywriter. I would like to share my experience here for others who would like to take on the same journey of establishing their careers in freelance writing, and learn from the mistakes I made. When I started back in 2009, I was newly married, in a new place, with a new life ahead of me. I had nobody to guide me on where and how to begin. I knew absolutely no one- NO ONE, who was working as a freelance writer. I started with zero knowledge and experience. All I knew was I could write. I was determined I could use this skill of mine to earn myself a living while still being able to look after my home and family. How could I tell others about it? How could I sell this skill of mine, and make any money out of it? I knew nothing. My only friend back then was Google, and not to mention, my husband, who supported me with what I wanted to do. 1. Triond: Google search engines brought up a plat...
