What Sells Well: Part 2

This post is more sort of a continuation of my previous blog post "What Sells Well?" In case you've not read it, here is the link: http://ghostwritersworld.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/what-sells-well.html  In the previous post, I said you can sell almost anything if you provide a good quality as well as a unique product or service at a competitive price. You need to find a USP, that is your Unique Selling Point to let yourself stand out and look different from others. Now to understand the whole concept of selling anything well, I'll try to give you my own example. On Fiverr, (one of the freelancing platforms I work on) I have quite a few different writing gigs. Out of all those, my best selling gig is about writing product descriptions: http://fiverr.com/users/intellect001/manage_gigs/write-a-short-description-about-new-aap-game-website-or-any-products-you-are-thinking-of-selling Now, it's not that I'm the only one on Fiverr writing product descriptions...

Keywords are Good for SEO, Keyword Stuffing is Not

To understand SEO fully, you need to understand the importance of keywords and get familiar with terms like 'keyword stuffing' or 'spamdexing'. You want your website to have SEO-optimised content, and include keywords that people might be looking for on search engines like Google.  However, don't stuff your writing with too many keywords. You might put yourself into trouble that way.  How, you ask?  Well, let me explain. What is Keyword Stuffing? In this blog post, I will try to explain it all in the simplest possible way. So What Actually is a Search Engine? Search engines are programs, very clever ones,  that look for documents and websites for specific keywords. The search engine produces a list of the documents and websites where the 'keywords' can be found. Examples of popular search engines include Google, Ask, and Yahoo among many others. Types of Search Engines: There are three types of search engines: 1. Crawlers, Ants, or Spiders are powered by robots; 2. A second type of search engine is powered by humans; 3. The third type is a combination of robots and humans. Crawler or robot-based search engines use automated software agents to go to a website, read the information on it and return all that ...
