Making Money Online: Surveys

Another great and one of the easiest ways to earn money online without any qualifications is by filling surveys online. It doesn't pay much but if you take plenty of these surveys, you can earn some extra cash and in some cases, get free samples too.

Here's a simple guide to taking surveys online and start earning money immediately, but as always, I'll start with the basics.

What are Online Surveys?

A number of companies such as Global Test Market, Opinion World, Opinion Outpost, Survey head, Populus Live, Toluna and so many more are there online which offer to register to their websites for free. Once you’ve done that, you are sent invitations to survey opportunities every now and then. These are sent out by big and small companies to get feedback on their products and gather stats about people's choices.

Who Can Fill in these Surveys?

Anyone can! That's the beauty of it!

You do not need any special qualifications or experience to fill out these surveys for making money online. All you need to spare is some time to read through them and express your own opinion about a new product that is to be launched or a new advertisement of that product.

It is very important for major giants like Coca Cola, Cadbury’s or Walkers or fast food chain like McDonald’s to get the opinions of public about any new idea they’re about to launch. If the results are positive, only then will they introduce the product in the market. If not, they’re interested to know the flaws and improve them before launching it.

So you see how your opinion really counts.....

Rewards:

When you successfully complete a survey, you are given incentives such as cash, high street vouchers, online shopping discounts or entries to prize draws for each survey to complete. It is a reward for all your time and effort in filling out a survey. On average the pay is $1 per survey or even less but it all depends a lot on the time taken it to complete it and varies form company to company. It may not be a huge amount of money but considering you didn’t have to do much, something is better than nothing.

If you’re looking forward to earn $200-300 extra annually, and get free samples of new products, without much hassle and working too hard, you can start off by registering yourselves to the following websites (for those in the UK) which offer the best rewards and value your time in the best way:

Valued Opinions
Global Test Market
My Survey
Survey Head
Toluna
Populus Live
Opinion Outpost
Opinion World
Survey Network
Treasure Trooper

The Truth:

Noticed I said, 'successfully complete a survey' above? That's because, not every survey you fill will be successfully completed. Based on your responses, you may be 'filtered out' in the middle of a survey because you do not fit the demographics, or just not taking enough time to read through the questions and answer them honestly. The survey sites employ clever bots that detect false responses pretty quickly and easily. So be careful not to randomly answer your questions. How frustrating it is to spend half an hour answering a survey and be filtered out just because you are not the right audience for it.

Yes, money may be easy to make by filling out these surveys but this won’t give you money enough to survive. However, something extra on top of what you normally earn is always good, isn't it?

8 Reasons Why You Should Become a Ghostwriter

Despite having published under my own name, I prefer being a ghostwriter. While ghostwriting is not everyone's cup of tea, it just seems to work perfectly for me. The reasons?  1 . Ghostwriting Pays Well Ghostwriting is a lucrative niche . One of the best things about ghostwriting is that you get paid a handsome amount for it. And you get paid upfront. You don't have to wait to write, publish and then market your book to make any money out of it.    At Ghostwriters' World, I offer other writing services such as copywriting but ghostwriting undoubtedly pays the best. You just have to find the right clients- the ones who will pay you well. 2. You Have to do Less Homework Often your clients will have brilliant ideas and stories that they would want you to work on. This means you would not have to start from scratch. You don't have to come up with your own ideas and voice. You would have an outline or plot to begin with so you'll have to do less homewo...

7 Skills That Will Help You Succeed as a Ghostwriter

You have just found out that ghostwriting is a lucrative career . You wish to become a ghostwriter now, but you know it is not easy to be one. The biggest challenge you will face as a ghostwriter is to see someone else take the credit for your writing. That’s what all ghostwriters sign up for. Developing this sense of detachment is the first thing you’ll need to learn to do, but there are other skills that you’ll need to succeed as a ghostwriter. Besides having a command over the language and mastering the art of writing that we all need as writers, there are 7 other skills that, in my opinion, will help you develop a successful career in ghostwriting. 1. Be Versatile – You should be able to handle different kinds of writing projects with equal ease. While you may be an expert in a certain niche or genre, don’t just confine yourself to ghostwriting books. Expand your skills to write short or long articles, blogs, speeches or essays. Confining yourself to just one area wil...

Housewives Vs Working Women: Who is Better?

As promised last week, I am back into the blogging business. When I use the term 'business', I do not mean this is what I do professionally to make money out it, although that would be great too. Won't it? ;) My blog posts are meant for utilizing my sheer love for writing, to express my thoughts, experiences and opinions and then share them with you, and even better to help you out in some way, if possible. The Hottest Debate of the Millennium During the last few years I have had a lot of debates with my friends (many of whom are working women) about whether being a working woman is any better than being a stay-at-home mum. It is no surprise that many of those working women still think that being a housewife means sitting at home and chill-axing while being a working woman means working your arse off when you are at work and then coming back home to looking after the house and family. There is one thing that I have noticed that both housewives and working women...
